He disappeared this morning and I knew where I would be able to find him. He likes to go to this couch to fall asleep.
Tuesday: AGAIN!
Katie is teething AGAIN! She is getting her 6th tooth!
A minute in my day! I am usually holding at least one kid. Often, I have all 3 sitting or climbing on me.
Messy girl!
House is busy! I was trying to clean the high chair. William was riding his tricycle all around. Wade was trying to figure out how he could make the most damage. Katie was trying to chew on anything she could get her hands on.
I think I caught Wade checking out the fish bowl and making a plan in this picture.
This is what happens when mom's go to the restroom and nobody else is home to make sure a certain little monster doesn't mess stuff up!
Fish bowl full of food! I guess it was time to clean the fish tank anyway.
I got to this thing again! I put some butternut squash in them. I gave one to Wade but he spit it all out!
Hanging out with Katie while the boys nap!
Tuesday: Ice Day
Round Rock ISD had a delayed start today so William's school also had a delay start. I didn't want get Katie out in the cold so we just stayed home all day. We busted out the Kiwi Crate and made a snowman out of cubes.
Snowman bowling!
Silly girl!
Wednesday: Thinkery then luck runs out
Checking out a new class
Sensory bin and talking about unicycles, bicycles, and tricycles.
Katie trying to get in!
Playing with the rainbow rope.
Making bicycle art.
Painting with the wheels
Of course, this did not last long. Another boy wanted a paint brush so everyone else wanted a paint brush. William didn't like getting paint on his hands. Wade spent the rest of the class washing and drying his hands then going to throw the paper away. Fun class!
Playing in the Thinkery a little bit after the class.
Wade woke up this morning with his eyes a little crusty but I didn't think much of it. He coughed a few times while at the Thinkery but not a lot. On the way home, he starting coughing more and complaining about his ear. I called the Dr. Ellis right away and she was able to get us right in. ANOTHER EAR INFECTION! He has gotten tubes twice (7 months and 18 months) already! We will have to keep a close eye on him. I really hope he does not need tubes again!
Thursday:
We took William to school and then went to get Wade's medicine. Every time before that he has had to take medicine he has loved it because it is flavored. Well, they did not flavor it at first. He spit it out right away then would not let me put the eye drops in either. He stood with his hand over his eyes and told me to just give the drops to Katie. However, later that day I took his medicine back to get some flavor in it. Now, he loves it. He actually cries because he wants more and we won't give it to him.
Friday: Cold and Lazy Day
Doing a luminary.
I tried several times to get Katie to take a nap but she refused. This happened later!
She found a cabinet that she can open! She has gone back to this cabinet several times since she discovered it.
Katie getting Wade back for messing with her!
Saturday:
This smile makes getting up early worth it!
Having fun with daddy while mommy cooks
Our #whatthewade moment of the day
Wade:
He came down to our bed one morning and climbed into bed with me. Two minutes later, Katie woke up. He stated several times that he did not like Katie anymore then told Mike to go get Katie. Mike brought her down to get into bed with us too. As soon as she crawled towards Wade, he smiled and laughed at her and said "I like her now, Momma!"
Wade is sick so he had to get some medicine. When I first gave it to him, he spit it out all over our house then had me wipe his face off. I took the medicine back to HEB to ask them to add some more flavor to it. I talked it up and told him it was now going to taste like candy. He was crying at first but for some reason changed his mind. He then told me that he was ready to try it. He ended up loving it and asked for more for the rest of the night. When I was putting him to bed, he told me "I like my medicine!" Only Wade! I was surprised when he didn't like the medicine because he has loved medicine every time he has taken it. We always laughed when he would stand there excited to get his medicine!
Loving his new ninja turtle shell. Thank you to the Jensen family for finishing off the Ninja Turtle gear!
Tough guy
Found William asleep here around 10 am. He was tired after a busy weekend.
Since school was out, there were a lot of kids at our Monday get together. We decided to just have a relaxed day instead of trying to talk about our readings with a million kids running around.
Look at these two! They are 6 weeks apart.
Katie is trying to give Henry a kiss!
Tuesday:
I walked away for a minute and Wade jumped in my seat and started to feed Katie. He did a pretty good job!
Katie's 9 month check up!
Weight: 18 lbs (50 %)
Height: 28.5 in. (75%)
Head Circumference: 44.8cm (75%)
Everything still looks good. Oddly enough, she still has not really gotten sick or been on antibiotics. William and Wade both had antibiotics several times by this point. Wade got tubes put in at 7 months! Dr. Ellis said that the 3rd child is usually the sickest but we have gotten really lucky! Hopefully the luck stays with Katie and she stays healthy throughout the rest of this sick season!
Katie is doing a ton of stuff! She is now crawling on all fours and getting around fast. She can now climb the stairs so we had to put the gate back up at the bottom of the stairs. She is still eating a lot of different things but doesn't seem like she is really a fan of pureed vegetables. I usually have to mix it with some fruit. My favorite time is when she interacts with the boys. I swear she is starting to mess with Wade. She loves stealing his pacifier! In this past week, she is also stating to walk with her little walker toy. She is eager to keep up!
Look at her go!
Playing his new Paw Patrol game while wearing his new hat!
Wednesday:
Dance Party at the Library
After the dance party we went to the Austin Aquarium!
Beautiful evening day to be spent outside! Katie loves playing right along with the boys!
Thursday:
Thinkery Trip- Unfortunately, Wade's little class that we wanted to go to did not form since Wade was the only kid.
We spent most of the time in the water room.
Friday:
I pump every morning and evening. This happens a lot of the mornings! He is standing on the back of my chair and holding onto my hair.
Practicing his counting!
Rolling down Mr. Mario's Hill
The neighbors came over tonight and the kids got to stay up way late!
Saturday:
Wade is in the same shirt that he wore yesterday because that is what he slept in. He was so tired by the time that we took them upstairs that I didn't even bother changing his shirt.
See! It happened again!
It was a beautiful day so we got to get some exercise on the trail. Mike took the boys in the bike trailer. I took Katie in the stroller. We started off by feeding the ducks at the duck pond. Then we went over to Champions Park.
Mike and the boys climbing
My fun Saturday night was spent making baby food. I watched a new video on baby food so I wanted to try it out. In the video he used a hand blender so I tried to use mind again. I realized that it's best to use it in a cup instead of a bowl. However, I broke it! The chicken and potatoes was too much so it overheated and would not work anymore!
Butternut Squash, Applesauce, Potatoes, and Chicken
Sunday:
Cold and rainy outside so lazy inside!
We got a letter from the Milk Bank saying that a couple people donated money in William's name. I think this is really cool and have already put it in his baby book.
Old Videos:
2 boys and a box!
Katie eating spaghetti noodles for the first time.
