Katie gives out her first kiss!

Monday:
Loving his new ninja turtle shell.  Thank you to the Jensen family for finishing off the Ninja Turtle gear!

Tough guy

Found William asleep here around 10 am.  He was tired after a busy weekend.

Since school was out, there were a lot of kids at our Monday get together.  We decided to just have a relaxed day instead of trying to talk about our readings with a million kids running around.

Look at these two!  They are 6 weeks apart.

Katie is trying to give Henry a kiss!

Tuesday:
I walked away for a minute and Wade jumped in my seat and started to feed Katie.  He did a pretty good job!

Katie's 9 month check up!
Weight: 18 lbs (50 %)
Height: 28.5 in. (75%)
Head Circumference: 44.8cm (75%)

Everything still looks good.  Oddly enough, she still has not really gotten sick or been on antibiotics. William and Wade both had antibiotics several times by this point.  Wade got tubes put in at 7 months!  Dr. Ellis said that the 3rd child is usually the sickest but we have gotten really lucky!  Hopefully the luck stays with Katie and she stays healthy throughout the rest of this sick season!

Katie is doing a ton of stuff!  She is now crawling on all fours and getting around fast.  She can now climb the stairs so we had to put the gate back up at the bottom of the stairs.  She is still eating a lot of different things but doesn't seem like she is really a fan of pureed vegetables.  I usually have to mix it with some fruit.  My favorite time is when she interacts with the boys.  I swear she is starting to mess with Wade.  She loves stealing his pacifier!  In this past week, she is also stating to walk with her little walker toy.  She is eager to keep up!

Look at her go!

Playing his new Paw Patrol game while wearing his new hat!

Wednesday:

Dance Party at the Library

After the dance party we went to the Austin Aquarium!

Beautiful evening day to be spent outside!  Katie loves playing right along with the boys!

Thursday:

Thinkery Trip-  Unfortunately, Wade's little class that we wanted to go to did not form since Wade was the only kid.

We spent most of the time in the water room.

Friday:

I pump every morning and evening.  This happens a lot of the mornings!  He is standing on the back of my chair and holding onto my hair.

Practicing his counting!

Rolling down Mr. Mario's Hill

The neighbors came over tonight and the kids got to stay up way late!

Saturday:

Wade is in the same shirt that he wore yesterday because that is what he slept in.  He was so tired by the time that we took them upstairs that I didn't even bother changing his shirt.

See! It happened again!

It was a beautiful day so we got to get some exercise on the trail.  Mike took the boys in the bike trailer.  I took Katie in the stroller.  We started off by feeding the ducks at the duck pond.  Then we went over to Champions Park.

Mike and the boys climbing

My fun Saturday night was spent making baby food.  I watched a new video on baby food so I wanted to try it out.  In the video he used a hand blender so I tried to use mind again.  I realized that it's best to use it in a cup instead of a bowl.  However, I broke it!  The chicken and potatoes was too much so it overheated and would not work anymore!

Butternut Squash, Applesauce, Potatoes, and Chicken

Sunday:
Cold and rainy outside so lazy inside!

We got a letter from the Milk Bank saying that a couple people donated money in William's name.  I think this is really cool and have already put it in his baby book.

Old Videos:
2 boys and a box!

Katie eating spaghetti noodles for the first time.

Valentine's Day

Monday:

Morning dance session

Blue Bakery Tour

Touching White and Wheat Flour

Admiring the bread slicer

Getting ready to decorate their piece of bread

Wade did really good

William did not do very good.  He ate all of his toppings!

Smashing the toppings in!

Their bread!  Notice William's is blank!

Enjoying a cookie after working hard on their bread

Eating raisins!  I was really impressed because she was eating all of her raisins.  However, she spit about 10 of them out near the end!

Playing basketball with daddy!  The deck was definitely worth it.  It is so easy for the boys to get outside and play when the weather is nice.  I think the boys played outside with daddy more this week than they have the whole time that we have lived in this house.  Yes, the boys are older now but the deck makes the backyard more inviting.  Great job, Mike, for the idea of lowering the deck to ground level!

Tuesday:
Brushy Creek Park Day

Of course, he would rather enjoy his snack than play!

I came downstairs today after putting Katie down to find Wade standing in this chair. Constantly eating!

We picked up our bread!

Trying to see how she would do drinking out of a cup with a straw!  It was a fail.  The milk just went all over her!

Baseball with daddy after work!

Wednesday:
The Valentine gifts that William took for his class.  I was really impressed because he sat with me and helped me tape the cards down and tie the bows.

Finally trying out these pouches.  I put bananas in with the apples so it made it chunky and not very easy to put in the pouches.  I will not make that mistake again!

Thursday:
We went to Costco on Wednesday too but I had to get several big things so I needed to go back!  Costco twice in two days!

Friday:  Party Prep Time
Luckily the boys did Starfall for a big chunk of time!

Turning the house into a jungle!

Turning the boys into jungle animals!

The tree on the right has been up since last weekend.  I was surprised when putting up the rest of the trees was such a nightmare.  They kept falling!

The trees that were on the wall instead of the ceiling really gave me trouble.  I ended up having to put a pin in several of the trees to get them to stay.  The pins ended up working because only one tree ended up falling during the party!

Eating her applesauce all by herself!

Saturday:
Since we were having a birthday party on Sunday, we should have stayed home in order to get the house ready.  Well, we did not!  We met Anthony and Cecilia at the park in the morning.  Then Mike to go play some golf while Nana, Papa, the kids, and I went to go eat then went back to Costco.  3 Costco trips in 4 days!  I think Papa was exhausted after being out and about for a few hours with the kiddos!

Sunday:  Party Time
William opening his first present!

Since I was just getting a plain cake from Costco, I wanted to do something that went along with the theme.  Monkey cupcakes!

Wade sat in this chair for a while because he had just discovered that the jelly beans were put out.  He is definitely a jelly bean fan!

Little ones turn in the bounce house!  For some reason, Katie would not get in.

It was really nice having the deck!

I think Wade ate throughout the party!

Our jungle theme food snack table!

Our dirty kid at the end of the day!

All day without a naps so he crashed early!

Nana left her iPad! So the birthday boy got to watch his show on the iPad before going to bed.

One of William's presents!
