Easter Weekend!

On Tuesday, William went to school and Wade went to our church playgroup Easter hunt at the Davis Springs Park.

Eating a donut and driving the Fire Engine.

Stomping in the dirt with Luke

Wade learned that there is candy in the Easter eggs!

An owl sleeping on our house.

A closer look.  Hopefully we will see it again since I only took a picture with my phone.

A meatloaf cupcake!

On Wednesday, the boys and I went to the library for Toddler Storytime.  I left my phone in the car on the one day that there was a lot to take pictures of.  The librarian showed the boys a tiny robin egg that they found outside.  She also got the kids up to act out the books.  William was really cute following along.  Then the boys got play time afterwards.  William played with the puppets that had a tiny stage to go along with it.  He liked the dragon most of all.  Wade did good playing with the "Mega Blocks" until he decided that he wanted to step on them instead.  Then, we went to the All Abilities Park!

Wade having fun on the slide.  I love his little run at the end.

On Thursday, William had his Easter Egg hunt at school.  This was going to be his 3rd egg hunt for this year.  Before we left for school, I asked him if he was going to get scared during his school egg hunt and he said "Yes, I'm going to get scared!"  I reassured him that he could hold Ms. Nancy's hand and told Ms. Nancy that he might need some help in front of him.  I wanted him to know that he would have support if needed.  When I picked him up, William and Ms. Nancy were excited to tell me how awesome he did during the egg hunt.  I was proud!

On Thursday night, we went to go pick up a new bunk bed set for William's room.  The 2 twin beds will be separated for a couple of years though.  We stopped at Burger King for dinner since we were out.  The boys enjoyed their ice cream that they got with their kids meals.

On Friday, my Mom's Club got together at Cat Hollow Park for playing and an egg hunt.  Anthony got to join us.  The boys had a lot of fun!

On Saturday, we went to Jester King Brewery to help celebrate Jill's birthday.  We all had a lot of fun.  The boys were filthy by the time we left though!

We finally got our leaves bagged!  Who would think that we would have to bag leaves in the Spring.  However, with a yard full of oak trees, we will have to do this every year.  Luckily, we did not have to do it though!  The 'Mow Bros' picked up 17 bags of leaves!

Easter Morning!

William didn't have any competition this year since Wade was just focused on opening up his candy that he found.

After the egg hunt, we headed to church.  Church was super full since it was Easter so we didn't get a seat.  William got out his new cars and was totally fine playing with those.  Now, Wade is always another story.  After he broke the glass of a small (thankfully) candle, I used a firm voice and told him that I had enough.  I couldn't believe it but he responded to it.  He is 19 months old now so we need to realize that he understands us!

Brian and Kim came over for lunch and the boys loved it.  I didn't even attempt to make them take a nap because I know it would have been a battle.  They both did great all day and had tons of fun so I didn't mind.  However after Kim left and Brian and Mike went for a bike ride, Wade was asleep on the couch 2 minutes after I turned on the movie.

When the guys got back from their bike ride, we went outside to say good-bye to Brian.  I thought it was going to be a quick trip outside so I didn't have Wade put on shoes.  That was a huge mistake!  William jumped on one of the ride on cars and Wade went running after him.  He grabbed onto William's car then he fell onto his knees so he skid on the sidewalk!  He was actually really tough about it and only cried a little bit.  Then he would just grab his foot and say "boo boo".  I think he likes showing it off.

His wounds the next day!

If his battle wound were not enough, Wade woke up Monday morning with Pink Eye!  So we were off to see Dr. Ellis again!  She gave us a prescription for eye drops and told us about a cream to put on his wounds.
