William checking out where the UT student working with Dr. Ellis was. He had a crush! I have actually never seen him act this way before.
Waiting for her shots. She did good.
After Katie was born, we noticed William was getting stuck on word and started stuttering a little bit. I did a little bit of research that said it could be developmental but I didn't want to wake up one day and realize that we have a bad speech problem on our hands. I called Dr. Ellis' office for a recommendation on what to do and she said to go ahead and get him evaluated. We went last week to meet with a speech therapist and get William evaluated. William wanted Wade to go with the therapist too so they had a great little session. We went back this week to hear what she had to say and see what recommendations she has. She confirmed that his speech issues are developmental but gave me things to look for in the future. The stuttering has already slowed down a lot and I'm confident that it will eventually stop. Even though he has done great with Katie, I guess the stress of everything effected his speech a little. I also notice it the most when he is excited or tired. I'm really glad we met with someone though. After meeting with the speech therapist and hearing good news, we went to the Austin Aquarium to celebrate.
Waiting for the aquarium to open
Touching the tortoise.
Then we played for a little bit!
Videos from the week:
Last weeks t-ball game
The next 3 videos are from Friday when it was wet outside so we were stuck inside all day!
Good Big Brother William! When I change Wade's diaper, I usually put Katie in the crib. I stepped out of the room to put Wade's diaper away and I came back to William in the crib too.
The boys went up for nap a minute before I did!
The boys escaped to William's room!
