Monday:
Jumpoline
This past weekend I watched a lot of YouTube videos on Baby Led Weaning. Katie doesn't take purees the easiest and I have been seeing that Maren eats everything so I figured I should try it out. I can tell that she really enjoys feeding herself and having food in front of her. I'm exploring with the different things that I can easily give her. I will continue to do pureed food though.
Working on their cars! I love that they both have one of these tricycles now. I think they love it too!
After walking around the house for a while I noticed that she was swaying back and forth!
Both of these videos happened in about a 10 minute span:
I took Katie upstairs in order to put her to sleep so the boys came too. I was nursing Katie in her room when William came in and told me that there was an "emergency".
Trying some more!
Tuesday:
I've took the cover off of her chair so I could wash it. It was SO dirty! I have a hard time putting it back on because I know it will get filthy in no time.
Wade's class started again
Parade time
I can fly!
Meatloaf dinner!
Wade loved it and asked for seconds!
Wednesday:
We started the egg in vinegar experiment!
Then we went to the BCCC Preschool Playdate.
I was really impressed that William sat down to color.
I took the balloon away right after the picture!
So far she really likes toast, peas, and blueberries!
He had to have some more meatloaf before nap time.
Daily Miller Dance Party
Thursday:
Visiting Dr. Jenny
William did awesome! Wade did not do awesome!
This morning I decided that I was done with the knots in Wade's hair. So it was time for another haircut!
Look at those knots! She didn't even want to try to brush them out so she cut them out. He gets knots from twirling his hair.
Look at that handsome boy! He was happy to have a lollipop! He did awful at the dentist but he has a champ while getting his hair cut. For a reward, I took him to Chick-fil-a. I had a really great time with just Wade. He was like a different kid without William around. It was so cute to hear him greet another little boy by saying, "Hi! I'm Wade." Then before we left, a lady told him that he had pretty eyes and he replied by saying that she had really pretty eyes too. It was awesome to witness him interacting with other people in such a positive way (something I worry about since he is a SAHM kid).
However, Wade would not take a nap before we went to one of William's classmates birthday party. He finally fell asleep on the way to Pump It Up but it was not long enough. He spent the first part of the party crying! Once he realized how cool the place was he was happy!
The place was awesome! It is mainly just for parties. They do have an open jump time but during parties it is closed to everyone else. We might need to have a party here one day!
Wade figured out that he could ask the girl working at the place to help him up the big slide! She helped him up this huge one a couple of times.
We finally found a little area for Katie!
The party!
Wade loved the pizza but he was mostly concerned about getting cake!
Mike didn't make it to the party in time so we went out to eat with him afterwards. Katie enjoyed the crackers and making a huge mess!
Since Katie loves the bath so I put her in the bath every evening. I only use soap and shampoo every other night so some nights are just playing in the water nights. Most of the nights, the boys also try to get in the bath tub with her. They usually get in trouble though for being 2 rough or spitting water on Katie.
We have a full on crawler now!
Friday:
Look at that hair sticking straight up. I think it is from him trying to twirl it!
Observing the egg after sitting in the vinegar for two days!
First we went over to a friends house to play then we were off to the Cedar Park Center for the Elephant Lunch!
Checking out the old car!
My favorite part was seeing the elephant swing out his trunk in order to get the apple that was in front of him.
Afterwards, we had to make a stop at Costco! Oh my! I had to take a picture of how much I spent on gas!
My car was really low on gas so I had to put 27 and a half gallons in it. This usually costs me close to a hundred dollars!
William's class
It was a pretty day so we got the bikes, scooters, and ride on toys out!
