Katie: You rolled over today! You have only rolled from your front to back a few times but today you rolled from your back to front 3 times. It was exciting to see and Wade was your biggest cheerleader. You are chewing on everything that you can get your hands on. I would guess that you will get a tooth soon but it seems too early. William got his first tooth at 6 months and Wade at 7 months. You are also doing an awesome job sleeping at night. I started giving you a quick bath in the sink almost every night as part of our nightly routine. The last few nights you have been sleeping until 6 am. As of right now, you are the best sleeper in the house. I pray that you stay that way!
4 month check-up:
- Weight: 14lbs 10oz (70%)
- Height: 25in. (75%)
- Head: 42cm. (90%)
William: You amaze me everyday! I love what a great big brother you are (most of the time). Almost daily you still lay by your sister and rub your head while you suck your thumb. You and Wade are actually playing together more and more everyday too. Of course, this means that the fighting has increased a little too. More often than not, it is Wade though! You definitely play the protective big brother role. You tell on Wade if he is doing something wrong and talk to Katie if she is upset. One time you even hit Wade because he was taking something from someone else. Your vocabulary is also increasing. You asked Nana to help you climb a tree the other day and then told her that you were afraid of heights when you got up in the tree. We can thank Dusty for teaching you the "afraid of heights" phrase. You still are using "poo poo diapers" though! Hopefully one day you will stop.
So I can't get this little guy to go down for a nap when William goes to sleep. William has always been pretty good about laying in bed and going to sleep. Not Wade though! I finally realized that in order to get him to go to sleep I have to sit with him on the couch and watch a show. Then I'm able to carry him up to his bed.
He had to copy Katie after she got done doing her tummy time. Of course he hit his head on the block while doing this so he gave himself another bruise on his head.
Got Wade to nap!
The boys playing! Do you see a little body in that hamper?
Silly boys while eating a snack before bedtime!
I have started to walk William to school in the morning. It's definitely a good workout!

Thinkery Science Experiment!
Thinkery Fun
Look at Wade's hand stand! I think we need to put him in gymnastics!
Soccer has begun!
Just a regular morning in the Miller household!
