This week was interesting! William came down with a fever on Tuesday so we were stuck at home all week. Considering the circumstances, it was a good week.
Tuesday night. This is how William spent most of his time when he wasn't feeling good. On Tuesday night a storm blew in and we had 2 extra guests in our bed. First, Wade came down at 12:30 when it was lightning and raining really bad outside. It's crazy to wake up and see Wade's little head by the bed or climbing up at the end of the bed. Mike took him back to his room at 4:30 when the rain was long gone but William headed down at 5:30. Wade had snuggled up to Mike all night and then William kicked Mike for the rest of the night. I don't think Mike slept very well!
Since we were at home more, we realized that our new coffee table can be used as a train table. The boys walked around this table a thousand times this week!
Wade playing Hide and Seek. I love how William and Wade can sit, play, and have a whole conversation. Since they do this, William can understand Wade a lot better than we can. We sometimes have to ask William for help.

Since William had a fever for a couple of days, I took William to the doctor on Thursday morning. Oh, the adventure was fun! We were running late for the appointment because I made a delivery to the milk bank before we went to the doctor. Traffic was crazy at 9:30am! Thank God I don't have to drive in this Austin traffic on a daily basis anymore. First off, William would not get out of the car. I had to carry Katie and Wade into the doctor's office and ask a nurse to watch them while I went back out for William. Luckily, he came in without a fight but he was scared on top of feeling bad. Then, Katie had a HUGE blowout while I was talking to the nurse. I didn't take a wet bag with me so I had to ask the doctor for a thrash bag for the poop filled diaper and clothes. I realized that Katie's extra clothes were in the other diaper bag that I had recently used so Katie had to come home just in a diaper. Thank goodness I had a blanket. If things couldn't get worse, Wade would not walk to the car! I was worn out after this doctor's visit so I rewarded myself with a milk shake on the way home (that Wade mostly drank)!
William wanted to pull out the bed and watch a show.
This activity lasted a whole 5 minutes! Wade was really proud of himself and kept saying "I did it!"
Old pictures that I'm not sure if I have posted before:

Since school is back in session and Katie is a little older, I'm trying to get a weekly schedule going.
- Monday: We will stay home in the morning so I can clean and get some laundry done. Then we will head over to Olivia's house at 1:00 pm for my bible study group.
- Tuesday: William goes to school. Wade, Katie, and I meet with the church playgroup at St. Vincent de Paul. We also usually try to make a check trip to HEB too.
- Wednesday: Adventure Day- I will try to go to the Thinkery every week unless something else comes up.
- Thursday: William goes to school. Wade, Katie, and I will go to the park or do some other field trip.
- Friday: Plan on staying home and enjoying our backyard and toys!
